Growing up, Kailey always had an appreciation for the arts whether it be drawing, dancing or designing. As a child, she was fascinated by the wonders of creating. When Kailey was younger she used to want to be a fashion designer, then she began to watch shows such as Property Brothers. She was in awe watching the changes that could be done in a home through construction, creativity and design. After deciding to start at Winthrop University as an interior design major, she soon realized that Interior design was so much more than what you typically see on HGTV and she adored it. Kailey was amazed by the processes that came with designing a new space and the satisfaction of creating a new environment for someone else that is not only beautiful but completely functional for every single individual. After graduating in May, Kailey hopes to have a job in commercial design where she can express her creativity while also learning new design techniques everyday.
